The St. Johns High School Track & Field facility offers a nine-lane track (ten lanes for straight races). The facility offers two-way runways for the pole vault and long jump, which run North and South. Throwing facilities include four shot put rings and two discus cages. The large high jump apron has space to include two high jump pits.
The facility's self-contained press box was built in 2005 to support the hosting of quality, home track & field meets. The St. Johns program utilizes Flash Timing's Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) system. This system features intelligent, radio-linked units which connect the meet starter with computer software. Flash Timing's system is directly connected to the Hy-Tek scoring program.
The track was resurfaced in the summer of 2013.
